Armed Response Officer / Armed Escort Officer

SecureOne is seeking experienced, disciplined, and highly professional Armed Escort Officers to join our operations team based in City Deep, Johannesburg. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing armed response services, escort duties, and ensuring the safety and security of clients, personnel, and assets.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid PSIRA Registration (Minimum Grade C).
• Business Competency Certificates for:
  • Handgun
  • Shotgun advantageous
  • Rifle advantageous
• Valid firearm licences (where applicable).
• Valid driver’s licence (Code B or higher) with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in armed response, cash escort, tactical security, or armed escort operations will be advantageous.
• No criminal record.
• Medically fit and physically capable of performing operational duties.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform armed response and armed escort duties in accordance with company procedures.
• Safeguard clients, personnel, and valuable assets during escort operations.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections before and after shifts.
• Complete accurate incident reports and operational documentation.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, discipline, and customer service.
• Comply with all PSIRA regulations, firearm legislation, and company policies.

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
• Must be willing and able to travel outside of Johannesburg as operational requirements dictate.
